FREE PRESS SUMMER FEST 2014

Once again Free Press Summer Fest was a success.  I didn't actually plan on going this year but last week my client asked if I wanted a Fancy Pants wristband. How could I say no when I know that every time I have gone in the past it's been a blast! So I am thankful. The only thing that would have made this experience better was if Kelly was able to come. But....she had too much work to do. My first Summer Fest without her, kinda weird but I had Rannie and Andrew to be my dancing buddies.

 In Houston, there is one Friday every month that rules above all others and that Friday is here. There's a very short list of things Brandi I love more than dancing, so the third Friday of every month is our absolute favorite. We bust out the fanny packs and our dancing shoes and head over to Big Top for a sweaty night of a Fistful of Soul.

Here's a playlist to remind you to get up offa that thing! Whether you are flying solo tonight or going out with a group, I hope you find some time to dance and celebrate how good life is.

A MUCHO BUENO PLAYLIST /// Nashvegas Jams

First day back from Nashville, TN and I miss the heck out of it. I love collecting songs on Spotify while I'm on trips/adventures because it helps mark the memory. Takes me right back to that moment (i.e. Ryan Adams was playing on the stereo while Amanda was teaching me to drive standard in a parking lot for the first time. Harder Now That's It's Over came on when I made it to third gear. Minor victory). For me, it's just as important as the photographs I bring back. These are all the songs Amanda and I jammed on repeat while I was in Nashville the past few days.
