It's been almost two years since Jacob and I visited Joshua Tree. Our last trip we actually stayed at Hicksville Trailer Palace and it was just us lovebirds. This time we decided to take a trip with our close friends Dan and Kassi and stay somewhere we haven't been before. Palm Springs. We made sure that Joshua Tree was still on the list of places to visit. If you haven't been before I recommend reserving a whole day so you have time to hike, climb, take photos, and enjoy the sunset because it is out of this world. You don't want to try and cram everything in just a few hours. And I'm telling you, you gotta see it and experience it yourself. These photos just don't do it Justice.

You will be starving leaving the park so If you want really good food, drinks, and Karaoke hit up Joshua Tree Saloon. I promise you won't be disappointed. You might even have the most bizarre conversation with a stranger that will pull your hair and grab your boob. That really happened. True Story.

OUR DRIVE DOWN THE PCH

 Untitled

There is no greater feeling than traveling with your best mate with no plan other then Drive the PCH. No rules, no time limit, just drive and stop whenever you want. It was quite humorous because every turn we made our jaw would drop, we would look over at each other and we would pull over to just stare at how beautiful the scene was. These photos really don't do this place justice, I'll post video later so you can get a better feel. Is there any specifics you want me to share on future travel posts?

During our visit to Joshua Tree we really wanted to camp but they were not allowing fires and personally I think camping without a fire is lame. S'mores, whiskey, and late night hangs around the fire are the best! It all worked out though thanks to Hicksville Trailer Palace, we got our S'mores, Whiskey, Fire, and Glamping on with strangers. Even though we didn't camp we still went to Joshua Tree National Park to do some hiking. Funny thing, right when we pulled in we looked over to the left and my friend Jaime, from Ax and Apple was right there! I hadn't seen her since our Girls Marfa trip 2 years back. Crazy how we keep hanging out in the desert...or not crazy at all.

Tip /// Don't play catch with the little broken off Cacti balls. Jacob learned the hard way...HA!
