For those of you who have been following our journey, you know I work out in Sealy, Texas at the
Stash Co Factory (If you have no idea what I'm talking about
start here and
here). I truly love that crew. Last December we had the opportunity to bring a little piece of what we do out in the country to the city. We opened up a
Stash Co shop in the West Ave shopping center in Houston, Texas and it's been an amazing adventure. The whole Stash family has done an incredible job at filling the space with our goods as well as bringing in beautiful work by other U.S. makers. I'm also excited about the furniture Paul
aka Mr. Stash has built from reclaimed wood for the space (remember the set he built for the
Buffalo Spring dinner). After months of working on the shop, the space finally feels like a slice of what we have out at our factory in Sealy. If you live in Houston, TX and haven't made it out, come on with yo bad self! I'm usually there every Wednesday 11-6 pm.
Next week, our friends from
Cobra Rock Boot Company are packing their bags and making the long haul from Marfa to Houston. They will be selling a limited stock of their handmade leather boots out of our West Ave location from 12-8 pm on Wednesday, May 28th. Their boots are
my absolute favorite and they have
just released a new style, the Chisos. Come check them out!
